ALMOHAD: Anonymous, probably after 1300, AR double dirham (3.07g), NM, ND, A-493T, Hohertz-650, standard legends as on the single dirham type A-496 in Kufic script, VF to EF, RRR. The nature and origin of this type is unknown. Hohertz has suggested that this type may have been intended as an amulet, but that seems very unlikely.
