ARAB-BYZANTINE: Anonymous, 712-714, AV solidus (3.89g), NM, AH93, A-122, generally as Balaguer-1, Bernardi-29, also dated indiction 10, but as I instead of X as the engraver had too little space for the X; all legends in Latin; clearly dated XCIII for 93 in the reverse margin; typical careless strike for this type, VF, R. The "lumpy" edge is characteristic of genuine examples of this type.
