ARAB-BYZANTINE: Standing Caliph, ca. 692-697, AE fals (2.87g), Sarmin, A-3532, TG-370, very interesting subtype, citing a certain 'Abd al-Rahman in the obverse field, with the margin legend li-'abd Allah .... amir al-mu'minin, with the uncertain word perhaps maulahu ("his servant"), but that is very tentative, VF, RRR. Goodwin knew of 4 specimens, now 5 with this piece, all from the same obverse die! None on CoinArchives.
