PONTIC KINGDOM: Mithradates VI Eupator, ca. 120-63 BC, AV stater (8.22g), Kallatis, ca. 88-86 BC, HGC-3/1824, AMNG/I-258, issued during the First Mithradatic War, in the name and types of Lysimachos of Thrace, diademed head of deified Alexander right, wearing horn of Ammon // Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield to right, HPO to inner left, KAΛ on throne, trident left below, struck from rusty obverse die (as is usual for this type), traces of original luster on reverse, EF to About Unc.
