TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, large tin coin, cast (38.37g), Robinson-Plate 10.2/10.4, 64.5mm; stylized image of the "dragon on sea", minimal "head" and "tail", with the waves portrayed as dots (24 in three lines) // 3-line Burmese legend; 2 small casting flaws, bold casting, average weight for this type, EF. Although this is a relatively available Tenasserim large coin, it comes in a bewildering variation of the quantity and arrangement of the dots representing the ocean waves.
