Wonderfully done rubbings of many rare Chinese and a few Japanese coins. Seems to be a small production run due to the high-quality printing, ex. H. F. Bowker Numismatic Library. Howard Franklin Bowker (1889-1970) was a numismatist and philatelist, collecting and specializing in Chinese coins, stamps and banknotes. He created the first bibliography of Western language publications on East Asian numismatics. Ding was a key figure in the world of Chinese numismatics, and was President of the China Numismatic Society (Zhongguo quanbi xueshe) from 1940.
