EGYPT: Abdul Mejid, 1839-1861, AV 100 qirsh, Misr, AH1255 year 2, KM-235.1, VF to EF, ex Gamal Amer Collection. This is the normal year 2 issue from the Cairo mint. The type was copied in Sudan in the late 19th century, struck from rather crudely engraved dies.
