Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, wearing elephant skin and aegis around neck; Reverse: Athena advancing right, holding shield and spear; to right, helmet, ΔI, and eagle standing right on thunderbolt. A well centered and deeply toned specimen, featuring a rather alluring iridescence around the devices. Worthy of an elite bid and intense focus.
