Obverse: Laureate and draped bust of Venus Erycina right, wearing stephane; Reverse: Temple on summit of rocky mountain surrounded by wall with towers on each side and gate in center; ERVC above gate. Moderately handled, but nevertheless featuring a deep cabinet tone, this attractive architectural type presents upon its reverse a great representation of the temple of Venus Erycina on Mt. Eryx.
