KM-562.1. Cal-Type 229 # 833. Two-year type. Special quality for the issue with a nice strike that boldly renders Ferdinand's portrait and abundant sparkling luster over the essentially tone-free surfaces. While virtually always present, a few tiny as-made haymarks speckle the surfaces as well, but their visual significance is trivial. The sole finest graded of the type at both NGC and PCGS and a certain candidate for finest extant as such.
