S-3227A; KM-B207; ESC-447. Two-year type. Nearly fully detailed with a base of gray tone that blends with pale variegated color on both sides. While not always the case at this grade level, very few marks appear over the surfaces, although a tiny flan crack just after 12 o'clock on the obverse edge is noted for accuracy's sake. Altogether, a lovely near-Mint example of this historically important type coin that finds itself in constant collector demand.
