cf. KMX-1215. A VERY RARE and interesting medallic, semi-bullion issue, produced by the Tian Yee Foo Goldsmith in Chengtu, Szechuan Province. This cataloger could locate no other examples of the type, though we offered a piece from the same series--an EF half ounce medallic 5 Mace--in our April 2018 Hong Kong auction (lot 50447), hammering at $3,600. Well struck with a good deal of luster remaining, this specimen exhibits only a light degree of gentle handling.
