HGC-3.2, 1931. Struck in the names and types of Lysimachos of Thrace. Obverse: Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; Reverse: BAΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΛΥΣIMAXOY, Athena seated left on throne, holding Nike and spear; monogram to inner left, TO on throne; in exergue, ornate trident left. Though the obverse is truck slightly off center and the reverse exhibits a bold die crack extending from the edge to the throne, this Mint State example otherwise offers charming golden-orange surfaces and a good deal of lustrous brilliance.
