Fr-349; Mitch-878. Obverse: Siva and Parvati seated facing; Reverse: Devanagari "Sri Pratapa Harihara". A lustrous little Gem, untoned with full seated figures visible on the obverse. Harihara II earned numerous titles including Vaidikamarga Sthapancharya and Vedamarga Pravartaka under his rule. He continued to expand the territory of the kingdom ruling from the capital Vijayanagara (modern day Hampi) eventually gaining control of such ports as Goa, Chaul, and Dabhol in the northwest and most of the land south of the river Krishna.
