cf.Pr-P169. Obverse: Head of Heracles facing right, wearing lion's scalp; Reverse: Zeus seated left in throne, holding eagle and scepter, Ξ (date, 320/19 BC) in left field, ΣI below throne. Reverse similar to Pr-P172 (4dr not AV). A well-centered example featuring a pleasing, high-relief reverse with light porosity at the edges. Attributed by NGC as Philip III of Macedon, this coin appears to be issued by Ptolemy I Soter as satrap in the name of Philip III of Macedon, cf. CNG 434:154.
