Fruita, Colorado. Labor Exchange Note. 1896 1/4 Unit. PMG Very Fine 25.
No. 91. A fairly obscure subject and something rarely ever offered. This particular note owes its existence to the labor movement of the early 1900s and could be exchanged for goods produced by the "Labor Exchange." This idea seemingly failed by 1901 and is best represented by pieces like this one which represents only the third time that we've offered a piece issued by this particular branch. PMG comments "Minor Stains."
