1832 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-103. Rarity-1. Small Letters. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC.
Lovely surfaces are undeniably original in preservation, as confirmed by the full endowment of warm pearl gray patina that blankets both sides. Luster is full and softly frosted, the strike remarkably sharp overall for a late date half dollar of this design type. The 1832 Overon-103 is a common die pairing in this series, but in premium Choice Mint State the offered coin is just shy of Condition Census. A fleeting opportunity to acquire a superior example of the type or variety without spending considerably more for a coin certified MS-65. Die State 103.1.
