Quarter production at the Denver Mint in 1934 amounted to 3,527,200 coins, a smaller total by Washington quarter standards that confirms the key date status of this issue in all but the lowest circulated grades. As a solidly graded and aesthetically pleasing Superb Gem the offered example is exceedingly rare from a condition standpoint.
