34.7 mm. This is the official English medal marking the Treaty of Utrecht, which ended the War of the Spanish Succession, the North American theater of which is known as Queen Anne's War. The treaty had important ramifications in North America, though the medal itself was omitted from Betts. It was the Treaty of Utrecht that ceded Nova Scotia to Great Britain, thereby forcing the evacuation of the Francophone Acadians to Louisiana, where they became Cajuns.
