Description

1793/2 Washington Ship Halfpenny. Musante GW-20, Baker-18, W-10855. Copper. Lettered Edge. AU-58 (PCGS).
29.8 mm. 160.9 grains. Soft gold and rose undertones left by an old cleaning have largely toned back toward medium brown. Struck from the same obverse die as used on the 1791 Small Eagle cents.
