55.7 mm. 65.2 grams. Nice deep golden-brown patina overall with some of the underlying lead peering through at the high points. A few marks are evident in the left obverse field, left and right reverse fields, but the only one worthy of individual attention is on the former side below the letters LI GR. The texture is microgranular, as made and to no detriment, and the design elements are boldly to sharply rendered overall. While we have offered a couple of electrotypes of this medal that were unusually large due to added rims, this one is of a more standard diameter. Struck medals from the original dies are classics in the Comitia Americana series, placing considerable demand on well-made copies such as this.
