KM-47; Cal-1401. Weight: 25.74 gms. Variety with new style shield and struck with 1713 Royal reverse die. Struck on a broad flan, this example offers virtually complete shield with partial mintmark, full assayer letter and partial cross. The surfaces a bit granular with areas of light corrosion due to prolonged saltwater immersion, now lightly toned.
