DENMARK. 2 Krone, 1619. Copenhagen Mint. Christian IV. NGC AU Details--Cleaned.
KM-61; Dav-3516; Hede-105A; Sieg-87.4; Schou-20; Bruun-5078. Weight: 37.56 gms. Mintmaster: Nicolaus Schwabe. Hints of luster on the obverse and quite a bit more on the reverse, a piece with plenty of eye-appeal. Imposing in size and design, the 'Corona Danica' took inspiration to its name from the king's brother-in-law, James I of England's silver Crowns.
