Dav-8229; Hede-17; Sieg-22; Schou-8; Aagaard & Märcher-72.10; Bruun-4523. Weight: 28.85 gms. Mintmaster: Hans Delhusen. Engraver: Cort Dellhusen. Lovely iridescent toning and an exquisite example of numismatic Renaissance portraiture. This beautiful type, which for the first time carries the three crowns of Sweden in the Danish royal arms, was struck from silver paid by the Swedish king to reacquire the fortress, Elfsborg, which had been conquered by the Danes during the Northern Seven Years War.
