Apart from a hairline split in the center of the flan, a miraculous survivor from one of the most elusive kings in the history of Danish numismatics. Fully legible legends, incredibly sharp details and a lovely toning with strong blue and purple hues. Although the crown worn by the king is Byzantine, the overall design is clearly inspired by contemporary German issues.
