Description

(t) HONG KONG (SAR). Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation. 100 Dollars, 1.1.1987. P-194as. KNB82S. Archival Specimen. PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.
Serial number DU000000. An extremely archival specimen with the small perforated 'SPECIMEN OF NO VALUE' instead of the red 'SPECIMEN' overprint. Experienced collectors of Hong Kong specimens will have come across many examples of the red overprint but rarely, if ever, this perforated type. As such, we think this note should command a hefty premium but we will let the experienced and astute collectors decide.

(t) On September 1, 2019, the United States enacted new tariffs on collector's items of Chinese origin, including bullion and numismatic coins and banknotes.
