Description

(t) CHINA--PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC. Lot of (2). Peoples Bank of China. 5 Yuan, 1949. P-814s1 & 814s2. Front & Back Specimens. PMG About Uncirculated 55 & Choice Uncirculated 63.
Matching specimen numbers 002843. Buffalo. A scarce note in issued format this type is even rarer as a specimen and missing in many advanced collections of first series specimens. The paper quality used for this note is notorious for being poor quality and extremely to find in hard grades such as this.

(t) On September 1, 2019, the United States enacted new tariffs on collector's items of Chinese origin, including bullion and numismatic coins and banknotes.
