Description
JAPAN. Order of the Golden Kite, Breast Star, Instituted 1890, abolished 1945. EXTREMELY FINE.
Diameter: 90 mm. Gilt Silver with Enamels. Eight pointed star is composed of groups of 32 alternate red and yellow rays supporting two deep blue Samurai shields, on which are superimposed two sheathed swords, twin red Mutsutomoe banners. Atop all is a multicolor halberd topped by the legendary Golden Kite (falcon) that led Emperor Jimmu to victory in the founding era of Japan. Back bears two fixed pins, central hinged tunic pin and four screw-heads. There is no inscription, and the left-most red ray is slightly bent. A significant RARITY among Japanese Orders.
1890年日本設立金風箏勳章/胸星勳章。1945 年廢除。
直徑90毫米。銀章鍍金，琺瑯點綴，八角星有32束光輝組成，黃紅相間，中央有兩面深藍色武士盾牌盾牌上交叉叠放兩把入鞘武士刀及兩面紅色巴紋旗幟。最上方為一柄彩色戟，戟頂為傳說中引導神武天皇於建國時期征戰勝利的金色鳶鳥（隼）。背面有兩枚固定別針，中央有一帶鉸鏈的上衣針與四枚螺絲。無銘文，最左側的紅色光輝稍有彎曲。日本勛章中的關鍵珍品。
