A fantastic item for the Lithuanian specialist, this is a complete uncut sheet of the 100 Litu of the 1991 and 1994 series (the 1994 date unissued). Seen here on watermarked paper. The first stage of printing is complete, but it is missing the subsequent printing stages in which further details were added. While the 100 Litu of this series is fairly easily found in issued form any specimens, errors and the like are very infrequently seen. This series of notes were printed by the United States Bank Note Company who seems to have kept close taps on any items created by them as precious few such items have ever appeared from their factory. Well preserved overall with some handling which is not surprising given the large format of this sheet. The first we have seen and a fantastic item that will add some flare to any Lithuanian collection.
