A very scarce type from Denmark, seen here with the rare 1886 date. This type was first issued in 1875 and features one printed and one manuscript signature. Uniface design with coat of arms on front. A type that is missing from even the most advanced collections, this example would make for an excellent representative for the type. While it did spent some time in circulation it comes with good eye appeal and is surpassed in the PMG population report by just a single finer example. Light staining is mentioned by the grading service but is rather minimal and not too distracting. PMG Comments "Stains."
