A nice example of this scarce 18th century type from Denmark and Norway (although typically cataloged solely under Denmark as the place of issue on these is Copenhagen). A scarce Kurantbanken issue in nice grade that was introduced back in 1769 and would be printed until 1792. An interesting annotation dated 1871 is seen on the back when this note was allegedly turned in to a bank. PMG Comments "Tape Repairs, Stained."
