Grove-23a; Fonrobert-6925. Diameter: 20mm. Obverse: Bust left, perimeter legend, date below; Reverse: Crowned imperial eagle within crowned central medallion, perimeter legend. The noted tooling is manifested as light scratches, primarily on the obverse portrait and reverse shield, and now largely toned over. A seldom-seen medal, deeply cabinet toned but with luster still visible, particularly on the obverse. SCARCE.
