First chartered in 1909, the Central National Bank of Oakland is one of four National Banks to serve the City of Oakland prior to 1935. Falling into receivership in 1933; this example can trace its issue to a point early in this bank's history thanks to the signatures of the bank officers. The signatures of Cashier Harry Albert Mosher and President Joseph F. Carlston who served concurrently from 1909 to 1913 can be observed in the signature panels. PMG comments "Discoloration."
