Mimicking the back design of a Third Issue 50 Cents fractional currency note; this advertising piece can possibly be traced back to one John Valentino who is listed in the 1870 Census as a liquor merchant in Macon. This is by far one of the nicer examples attributed to this issuer that has appeared at auction in recent years.
