Obverse: Visual compression of the arms of the City of Barcelona (i.e. quarterly, first and fourth Argent, a full cross Gules, second and third Or, with four paletts Gules), which appear as with four thick vertical lines. the left two terminating in a cross at upper right, the second two on the right terminating in an identical cross opposite at lower right, BARCELONA across center; Reverse: Street plan of Barcelona inside hexagonal frame, signed "SUBIRACHS" at base. Josep Maria Subirachs i Sitjar (1927-2014) was a Spanish sculptor and painter of the late 20th century. His best known work is probably the Passion Facade of the basilica of the Sagrada Família in Barcelona.
