Weight: 45.6 gms; dimensions: 44x43mm. By Andre Mery. Obverse: Upper torso of a female nude facing right before two fluted classical pilasters, her left hand raised with palm branch, her right holding up a laurel wreath; Reverse: two men facing right in a cycling race, the second with a small bag hanging from his handlebars; inscription field blank. The artist Andre Mery is little known, though he was a frequent exhibitor at the Paris Salons in the years immediately after WWI.
