Pocket Coin Holder. Gold.
31 mm x 61 mm x 16 mm closed. 31.518 grams, .625 fine, 0.633 troy ounces AGW. With loop at top for suspension. A bright-finish piece with a script initial B on the lid. The functional clasp opens the lid to reveal two functional coin dispensers. Each dispenser is marked 15 . 625, as is the button that operates the clasp. Both the fineness and size of the coin dispensers suggest that this piece is of English manufacture, and probably for gold sovereigns.
