1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 43.2-X.4, W-4255. Rarity-5. Draped Bust Left, CONNFC. EF Details--Scratch (PCGS).
109.0 grains. Dark greenish olive over most of the surface with just a trace of lighter patina on the highest points. Microgranular but still with a glossy appearance. One small natural flaw behind the effigy's head and a couple of long obverse scratches that long-ago toned over. Slightly imperfect centering on both sides but with strong peripheral details that are tight to the rim in only a couple of places. The bases of the date digits are off the flan.
PCGS# 687375.
