Description

1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 40-kk.1, W-4230. Rarity-6. Draped Bust Left, AUCTOPI. VG Details—Environmental Damage (PCGS).
149.0 grains. Somewhat mottled dark brown with darker patina in the fields. Granular throughout with some rim bumps and minor scratches, including what seems to be a casual attempt at adding the date back! The distinctive AUCTOPI legend error is sharp, even if other features are not.
