1677 Dutch Fleet Burned and French Colony at Tobago Preserved Medal. Betts-58. Brass. AU-55 (PCGS).
25.5 mm. 67.8 grains. Medium brown with some obverse spotting and a splash of mahogany on Louis' throat. Scattered nicks and abrasions are seen, including one on the King's jawline. This is a sharp and well pedigreed example of this jeton issue that was apparently quite popular in its day.
PCGS# 613774.
