Fr-72; KM-383.7. Beaten out by just a single example graded MS-64, this Choice 8 Escudos reaches a rarified level of quality. Powerful silky luster traverses the fields, illuminating the coin with golden brilliance. The design elements are satisfyingly complete with the centers almost imperceptibly softer. A few contact marks on the fields hold the coin back from an even higher grade but are inconsequential in light of the coin's resounding appeal.
