Charming "Rat Nose" Minor in Gold
CHILE. 4 Escudos, 1763-So J. Santiago Mint. Charles III. PCGS AU-53.
Fr-12; KM-23; Cal-1866. Emanating from the first year in a brief three-year series, this "rat nose" bust type displays the king's rather prominently protruding proboscis. Some minor wear and breaks to the luster are observed, but the surfaces remain free from issue and sport a deeper golden-orange tone around the devices.
