KM-103; Cal-1438; Gil-M-8-2; Yonaka-M8-33A. One of the important RARITIES from this early period of milled coinage in Mexico. While cleaned, as noted, this piece has taken on an attractive cabinet tone with brilliant indigo highlights in the protected areas. Gentle handling preserved the coin's excellent strike. Despite its drawbacks, a beautiful example of this sought-after issue.
