MEXICO. Cob Escudo, ND (1702-10)-MXo. Mexico City Mint. Philip V. PCGS MS-62.
Fr-7C; KM-51.1; Cal-Type-204. A charming colonial gold issue. The compact flan prevented any peripheral detail from making it onto the strike, but the mintmark is shown clearly along with most of the central shield. On the reverse, the cross is well-centered and complete. Sure to attract bidders due to its problem-free Mint State quality.
