Maz-309 (R4); cf. Gad-126 (for regular issue in copper). Lightly filed plain edge. By A. Dupré. An EXTREMELY RARE trial striking that lacks not only a mintmark, but a date as well, this example likely served as a test for the dies before the mint and date punches were added. Exceptionally sharp, lustrous, and vibrant.
