FRANCE. Directory. Silvered Copper Décime Module Essai (Pattern), ND (ca. 1795/6). Paris Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-63.
Maz-343 var. (copper); Gad-184.(a) var. (same). Fluted edge. By A. Dupré. Weight: 11.30 gms. An additional example of this RARE type, the present specimen yields pale gray surfaces and some enchanting olive hues, all while a majestic strike adds further flair and allure.
From the Richard Margolis Collection (acquired from Hewitt at the ANA in Washington on 10 August 1971). Ex: Lee Hewitt Collection (acquired from Wayte Raymond).
