SWEDEN. Nobel Nominating Committee for Physics or Chemistry Gilt Silver Medal, "M9" (1962). Royal Swedish (Eskilstuna) Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-67.
Ehrensvard-21; Lagerqvist-1A/2A. Diameter: 26mm; Weight: 13.42 gms. By E. Lindberg. Obverse: Bust of Nobel left; Reverse: REG ACAD SCIENT SVEC (Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences), crowned and winged Swedish coat-of-arms; radiant North Star above. A wonderfully crisp example with delicate matte surfaces and a stately golden hue. Virtually no trace of handling can be detected, making this a particularly satisfying exemplar.
