CZECHOSLOVAKIA. Gold Medallic 100 Korun, 1969. Kremnica Mint. NGC PROOF-65 Ultra Cameo.
Fr-Unlisted; KMX-Unlisted; Novotny-Unlisted. Struck in commemoration of the Centennial of the Death of famed atomist and physiologist Jan Evangelista Purkyně. Produced in a set with a silver 25 Korun, this medal has a close relationship with coinage, though no gold denominated coinage was produced in Czechoslovakia at the time. Deeply mirrored, with thickly frosted devices and mild wispiness in the fields in line with the assigned grade.
