S-3864; Fr-390; KM-769. Variety with B.P. Mintage: 797. Featuring the popular jubilee portrait of the queen, unveiled in celebration of her 50th anniversary of reign, this SCARCE proof issue displays a tantalizing level of frosting upon the devices and intense mirroring in the fields, ultimately resulting in the deep cameo designation. Some subtle friction is evident in the fields, but is quite easily ignored given its common appearance upon the type as well as the difficulty in acquiring such a resounding example.
