ROMANUS IV with EUDOCIA, MICHAEL VII, CONSTANTIUS and ANDRONICUS, 1068-1071. AV Histamenon Nomisma (4.42 gms), Constantinople Mint. NGC AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5.
S-1859. Obverse: Crowned standing facing figures of Constantius, Michael, and Andronicus, each upon a footstool; Reverse: Christ standing facing on dais, crowning Romanus and Eudocia around him. A charming example of this scyphate type, presenting a pleasing strike and a flan without issue.
